Stick it out and keep the IS. If you wanna save gas get a civic or a corolla or something. And honestly, not to be insulting, but you guys in the states are LUCKY when it comes to gas. My last tank was $85 Canadian. That's with our dollar nearly on par. Here in Alberta we've been above $4 a Gal. for almost 6 months now. So again, not to be a dink, don't complain about gas prices. End rant.

Wouldnt the cost of the mini be able to fuel your IS's gas for another 5 years or so?

Are you sure you don't wanna go to Red Robin instead?

My cousin gets similar numbers in his IS250 RWD

Maybe leasing the Mini Cooper (non-S) for the NEXT car, but an additional lease can't equate out fuel savings.

If your friend is getting 40 mpg out of a cooper S he's probably idling it while towing it with a Toyota Tundra =)

I've actually thought about getting a mini for the same reason. Well, that plus its one of few fun to drive cars that do well in mpg's. However after researching it, found most guys are getting 28-32 mpg in real life. My M3 is getting around 21/22, so I just couldnt justify the change.

Trade in your 350 for a 250. Gas mileage will go up, and you will still be driving an IS.

Its not like the Mini doesn't require gas to fill it up as well. Sure the tank might be a little smaller but it still cost money to fill it up + lease payments. I rather just pay 60+ on a fill up with the lex.

Don't feel bad about gas prices, my boat has a 300 gallon tank. no more offshore fishing for me.

Leave the mini for the pride marches. Just drive slower and keep the IS!!!
