I loved the Acura Legend back in the 90s which had the speed and the look. I was always fan of acura legend till they stopped it....All newer design look ugly I'm now new fan of Lexus

I'm still shocked at how underpowered the TSX is (yes I know the 250 is underpowered but at least you have the option of a 350 or F if you want it!). Is Acura coming out with a TSX Type S??

http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2009-acura-tsx-review/
That review cannot be anymore accurate.
I haven't driven the new TSX but I've been inside/out it extensively. Its just disgusting to look at for one. Two, the size is huge for this class. Three, it has less power than the last TSX and still is a 4 cylinder. I have nearly no desire to drive this vehicle and I walked away with no feeling that this was an entry luxury car and it remains sub entry level luxury, whatever that is.
What is just amazing was I was a big Honda/Acura fan in the 1990s and now I think they are awful (yet they sell more and more). The new designs were clearly drawn by crack-head Tyrone biggums. The last TSX was a fun lil car, decent looking and while only an I-4, it was at least excusable.
Imagine if Lexus came with the 2nd gen IS and they had no AWD, no 350, no IS-F, etc. Lexus really took the 2nd gen IS to the next Lexus. Acura kept the 2nd gen TSX tied to a barn filled with Goats and said "average is good enough".
In summary, if you think Shrek is a good looking man and you like shopping at TJ Maxx, the new TSX is for you.

The option prices are ridiculous! $779 for a front lip spoiler!? my base IS250 came standard with much more. I do think Acura did a good job with the styling, I thought the old TSX was too boxy.

the IS250 is better than the TSX by far, but then again it cost quite a bit more if you add even a few options on the the 250 while the TSX comes in fully loaded under 32k. but then again... TSX - assembled in USA, IS - assembled in Japan.
While American auto manufacturing has improved, it is still no where near the quality of vehicles assembled in Japan.

ah... another tsx vs. 2is thread to respond to.
/OT
IMO i'd take the 2is over the new tsx. it just looks better.
also, if i were to buy a four-banger FWD sedan from honda, it'd be the civic Si sedan. my friend's got one, and it's not only more fun to zip around town (with better gas mileage, too boot), but it also doesn't look like a buck-tooth can opener up front. /OT again.
