Bought my fiance the IS 250 Smokey Granite w/cashmere interior, nav non ML. Of course I have a few questions any useful help is appreciated. I Would like to add satelite radio. What would anyone recommend? Also where can I buy factory accessories at a good price? Can I connect a dvd play to the nav screen?

Congrats on your purchase!

For the satellite...go with the XM module.

For accessories, check out Sewell Lexues or Carson Lexus. You can find some of their posts in the marketplace forum

Thanks. Would that be XM through the dealerahip or aftermarket? See that you have the 350. Is it fast? I didnt even want to test drive it because I would have wanted it. The car is not for me and my girl speeds way to much so more power was out the question.

There's a couple of aftermarket options for connecting an external DVD player to the nav unit... navtv I think is a popular one.

For XM you can get the factory unit around $300 and install it yourself in maybe an hour or so...all done in the trunk and plug and play....there's a good DIY with pictures if you search for it.

And yes, the 350 is fast
