Need help! People with edfc installed in ash tray
#16
Got a question, finally installing it tomorrow. Something took 3 month from japan god damnit. But does the installer need to take apart the center console to install it? I can't find the clips for the center console. It feels like it is glue down.
Also, there is no wires under neath the ash tray right? He will dremel it maybe with the center console on.

well taking the center panel is a piece of cake. takes all of 2mins. the panel isnt glued down but held down by clips and they are very forgiving so just give them a tug after you remove the silver trim pieces.

look at the link above and it explains how to remove the panel.

Already looked at that. Where do i start pulling from? The top where the ash tray is? I used all my force for all 4 corners. if anyone can point me where the clips are?

OK, just got my tein CS and EDFC installed. Do you guys who install the edfc in ash tray have a little problem closing the ash tray automatically? Like you need to tap it alittle so i can close perfectly?
Also, how do you adjust the coilovers lower?

Hows the EDFC working for you?

In order to adjust the coilovers lower you need to use the wrenches included.

its cool. after waiting 3 month from a washer from japan on my rear coilovers it finally came yesterday. Pretty fun playing with the settings.
oh, wow. Mine needs like a 1 MM clearance enough to close perfectly. I might take apart my center console to see what I can do myself to make it flush. Did you use tape to tape the edfc in place? btw, did you install your sl2vi and over ride kit yet?

What settings have you programmed in?
Funny you ask, just had it done today, both the override kit and the SL2VI. All I can say, its awesome!

oh, the shop asked me if its OK if i had to push it a little to close it I said it doesnt matter. But then when I got home I felt like I wanted it to close with out touching it again. But then not a big deal.
So far I am using the settings on the box. Memory 1 = front 2 , rear 4, memory 2= front 12, rear 12, and memory 3 = front 14, rear 14. I think i like it best at 0 front and 0 rear. The stiffer the better to me.
