There are 3 screws in each of the 4 pcs. You have to unscrew the bolts on them and unplug the harness and take out the bulbs. The trunk pcs are really easy to remove. The outer pcs are a lil tough just because after you take the bolts off, you have to give the tail light assembly a really good tug to get it out. If you're timid, you're not going to pull hard enough. I was able to get a reasonable grip on the right side and I tugged a couple of times and got it out fairly easily. The left side was little tougher. I couldn't really get a good grip and it took awhile to get it out. One other thing, you won't be able to unplug the harness or bulb on the trunk tail light pcs so when you go to pull the assembly out, just remember that there are wires and a bulb still attached.

If you have questions about removing the trunk lid cover or the hooks for the cargo net, just let me know.

I am trying to replace my tail lights but am having the hardest time removing them. Did you guys remove part of the trunk lining first? If so what tool did you use to remove the clips? Thanks.

+1 I highly suggest the overlay kit. Have a professional do it if you are having trouble.

For the outer pieces you need to remove the trunk liner first and you can use a small screw to remove the clips.

Are you going to do overlays on the -F as well? If so, do the ones for the 350 tails work or are there differences in the -F's light "lines"?

I have an -F and am trying to find a good kit...
