Just a quick Q.

So my friend has an 08 IS250..and the car has speakers on the front of the dash...i thought that was only for ML?

I don't know if it has ML on it because it does not say/write a MARK LEVINSON logo on the Navigation/Audio console....

Just the center channel would be empty if you take off the cover for the speaker. I think another member put a cup in there to hide stuff

yeah...i thought it should be empty..since mine is...lol...but my friend's has sounds going off in front of the center channel...and the center console doesnt say any Mark Levinson on it....so dealer could make a mistake putting a ML on a non ML? or can you just hook up the center speaker??

If it doesn't have the name Mark Levinson in the lower right corner it doesn't have ML. That is the only visual cue you will see in the interior. It is extremely unlikely that the Lexus factory would put an ML system in a car with a non ML faceplate. If it truly has ML without a proper faceplate the faceplate was changed AFTER the car left the factory. The final way to determine if it has ML is to open the trunk and lift up the small tray on the right side. The amp is under there and it says Mark Levinson. I suspect the car does not have ML. Are you sure you are hearing sound from the center speaker?

Yes, I am positively sure that i heard the songs/sounds from the center dash...unless yesterday i was high and hearing things...which i wasn't...lol...okay, i will try to see the trunk...
