I would drive a Honda Civic with Type-W stickers before I took my Lexus to Jiffy Lube.

The very last time I went to any oil change place one the employees told me that he was quitting because he was going to get paid more working at Subway! These are not the places to go when you care about the quality of work being done on your car.

I've posted this before, but I'll repeat it in this thread. Two friends have had terrible experiences at Jiffy Lube. On one, they forgot to set the parking brake after pulling the car out of the bay. He watched his empty Isuzu Trooper roll across the parking lot, out onto Rt. 9, and smash into the median between the north and southbound lanes. It's a miracle nobody hit the car, but it still caused over $1000 damage. Another friend narrowly escaped having his new Pathfinder ruined; they drained the old oil but forgot to put in new. Fortunately my friend was watching and screamed at the guy before the damage was done.

Not just Jiffy Lube, EZ Lube isn't that much better either. Both my friends and I use to take our car to EZ Lube for oil changes since they use Mobile1, they always recommend whole bunch of unnecessary services. The worst thing is that they pop your air filter cover, cabin filter cover, engine cover.... and they don't fxxking know how to put it back!!! I found clips inside my engine bay several times after getting my oil changed there!!

My friend has a BMW 325i and took his car to EZ Lube for an oil change, they recommended him to replace the air filter. After like 5000 miles he found his air filter box not properly put back, the top cover is pretty much lose like someone just randomly throw on top of the filter!!! That means his car sucked in lots of dirty air during all those 5000 miles!! He tried to put it back but he couldn't, something is already wrong with the air filter box! I didn't know what exactly went wrong with it since I didn't see it, but since then I've never been to EZ Lube again. Since I got my IS350 I rather pay a little more and do my services at my Lexus dealer.

My first and last experience w/ Jiffy lube was in Brea CA. I drove cross country w/ my civic and checked my oil before i even got there. Sure enough my oil was black. I got in Jiffy lube waited an hour and a half got my car and re-checked my dipstick. Sure enough it was just as black as it was before. I went back to Jiffy lube and complained to the Manager. He gave me back my 70 bucks, but he couldn't refund the complete waste of time i've spent for absolutely no reason

The only way to make sure the work is done is to do it yourself or watch the mechanics do it. Anything else is just based on trust, even at a stealership.
