HA! Nice thread Mike. I thought I was the only person that obsessed about my car getting hit while parked. No door dings for me yet...knock on wood! 
I too park far away from the pack. I even made it evident at my place of work that I have my favorite parking spot, and no one else better park in it....or else!

this happened to me last nite, i parked far away from everyone and there were like a billion spots ... i come back to the car and there are cars on BOTH sides, and then no one else around ... stupid ppl

I sold the 07 Vette just for that reason. I am a high school teacher and a shinny new Vette with headers and a fairly loud exhaust attracted way too much attention. I constantly worried about leaving it out there. So I bought the 350 because it tends to blend in a little better though I do miss the performance. But I still get to school an hour before classes start to get the premium or what I think is the safest parking spot.

Had the 250 for about 3 weeks now.
Allways carefull about parking.
I get a call two days ago and some one gave the wife a 4" crease on the passenger door as a present.
No paint break so it may be saveable.

I know thre feeling, had my left door hit by someone and I didn't notice until a car wash
In the end it cost a repair of $600
for paint job on the complete door at the Lexus dealer hmmmmmmm.........
Today I use two parking spots, the others parking next to me can think whatever they want..........

haha, this happened to me when i went to sobey's parked further away with nobody anywhere close to me. I come back there is a g5 beside me on the left, a huge truck on the right and a caravan behind me lol.
Mike I think you need to stop packing your camera on the go with you....your becoming obsessed! lol

You must have the Blackberry Pearl (I forgot), My Curve takes crap pics. As for Richie, he has his telephoto lens camera hanging from his neck like a tourist to capture pics of himself in random places (LOL).

I should have taken a pic from the other direction to really show how big this parking lot is and how empty it was. I must have walked thru close to 6 empty rows....It is a GYM and I give them credit for walking and not being lazy but come one?!?!?!?
