No time for Richie to take the cruise, he best be hunting down dealers to utilize that $750 Lexus gift certificate I sent him. He has until August. Use it Richie and make us all proud.

+1, I rather walk a few more steps than getting scratches/dents on my doors.

not always true around here. seen it too many times where they dont care about the car they drive. if I had to chose what car I was parking next to and the lot was not empty as it was here. I for sure would park next to the nicer car to take my chance.

you never know these days.

Not necessarily. The nice car may be ferrying young kids, who are notorious for flinging doors open with reckless abandon. Lots of high end cars have big heavy doors that act like battering rams when careless passengers open them.

If I have to park next to someone, I'll choose a car with the shortest, lightest doors I can find. The rear doors of a clapped out 4 door Tercel don't have much weight or much reach.

I don't think people mind that you park far, but when I see someone taking TWO parking spots then I think you are looking for a good keying. That's actually one of my pet peeves is when someone tries to park slanted and take up TWO parking spaces trying to make their car look extra cool. If you do that then you are asking for someone to EFF with your car.

I think that is BS. I can see your point if the parking lot is full, and someone is taking up 2 spots. But if it is empty I just think the driver of the car is trying to protect it from some knuckle head parking close to it and dinging the doors.
