With gas prices hitting around $4.50 a gallon.
Has anyone else used "ECT Snow" to save gas?
I've been hitting high 20s - low 30s mpg in the city.
Using ECT Snow in dry weather isn't bad for the car right?

I don't do it for gas savings, just like those profiles for those driving conditions... But I suspect they are also good for fuel economy...

Snow mode does make the gas pedal seem like it weighs 2000 pounds but it really does help with gas mileage. I was actually experimenting with this on the highway today. I was cruising along at 70 in normal mode and my "current MPG" display was showing I was getting approximately 28-30 MPG. As soon as I hit the Snow button, my current MPG jumped to 40-45 MPG without losing any speed.

what the heck does Snow mode do?? does it just change to a higher gear all the time? Cuz man it makes the car feel like crap. no fun, but if it saves gas then I may give it a try.. 35+ mpg would be sweet!
