Driving daily with VSC off or on?

My buddies and I were out late night and we decided to chill in this parking lot, a HUGE parking lot. No cars were there since it was around 3 o 'clock. We took some cones from a nearby job site and set it up as a course.
The question is does VSC make it safer when you are minutes away from an accident? When braking at the hardest, the brakes will lock up and cause to slid with no control of the car. With VSC off, you will slid, but still have control of the car.
I took my car and pushed it to 30-40 in the parking lot and turning almost at a 90 degree curve. With VSC on the wheel and steering didn't feel as smooth as with VSC off it was much smoother. Then we set up the cones to stage a car running a red. You are in the middle lane with no cars to the right or left of you.
I had to go 60MPH, then brake till the brakes lock up, then dodge behind the cones. With VSC it didn't let me steer and i clipped some of the cones. I took VSC off and everything felt smoother. This is a scenario for the freeway of course since local does not allow us to go 40+ and our brakes will have no reason to lock up.
So is driving with VSC safer or more dangerous?

Something is wrong with your car. It's impossible to disengage the ABS on the IS. You can turn off the VSC portion of VDIM but the ABS portion will always remain on and cannot be disabled. IOW, it would be impossible to completely lock up the brakes. If you did in fact lose steering control because your brakes locked, there is something very wrong with your car.
To answer your question, driving with VSC disengaged is way more dangerous.
