Sigh. I don't understand. People work hard buy nice things and people get jealous and decide to scratch the car.
My car has 3, one inch deep scratches.
You can tell it's a key because one of the scratches has double lines....
It wierd how I read about this kind of stuff on forums, and you think to yourself ..."naw it's NEVER gonna happen to me"....but it does...
I'm just at a loss... I don't understand why people would do this...
angry, sad, mad....
I was parked in a parking lot, but i purposely parked a little far to prevent door dings....which meant whoever did this took the time to walk over and do it...
and i know the whole karma speech...it will haunt the person one day...but seriously...c'mon now...he got away with it...
SIGH!!
I'll post pics after I wash it and do final inspection today

I know how u feel. I have a brand new XLE V6 Camry for couple weeks after some punk key the 18" from passenger rear door. Then I trade for 2IS six month later, then its happen again, but this time it on the driver passenger rear and two on the hood, each about 7". I manage to have the body shop remove the scratches on the door but on the hood it to deep to remove.

this makes me wonder....YES u park away from the other cars to prevent door dings.. BUT how far is too far....cuz sometimes it's so far that it's almost out of people's view...so people can easily do things to the car and no one will notice..makes me wonder....
IRONICALLY...I was at the store looking for 3M tape to mount my spoiler....didn't want to buy it online..tried to save a few bucks on shippin....store didn't have it btw...

Yeah I feel you
The place where I work, the people working the warehouse are jealous of my car ever since I got new rims and lowered it to make it stand out; some of them even joked about keying it since I'm always the earliest in the office and my car is right up front for everyone to see.
Two days afterwards, someone hit my car at work at the rear quarter panels

You might want to try getting a touch up kit from Dr. ColorChip. I bought their kit for my Porsche.
Here is a link to their website:
http://drcolorchip.com/
They advertise in the Porsche Club magazine and for the price it might be worth the try. Check out their website and see some of the repairs that have been done. There are also some other companies doing the same thing. This is the only one that I'm familiar with and have bought from.
