Hey now...you're getting an ES, so don't say you're going to miss us. When you're browsing around in the ES forum, you can always pay the IS people a visit.
I hope you enjoy your new Lexus!

I like the IS but just want a smooth and confortable ride.I'm twice as old as most of you guys.![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Had an ES loaner a few times and loved the ride and comfort.
This Panorama glass roof model ES looks great both exterior and interior and it's loaded with options which I like..
Options I miss on the IS.
Thanks for the kind posts,guys.

The Genisis is nice and has a lot of HP but I wanted to stay with Lexus.

Unless you put a lot of miles on your car, this is a great example of when leasing can allow someone to come out way ahead. Trading after 2-3 years kills.
Good luck with the ES! Hope you enjoy the new car.

Quick reply! You caught me before I could edit my original post.
Anyway, I'm sure you're already reading the ES forum, but it might be worthwhile to take the new car on an extended drive before you sign the paperwork just to make sure there are no bad rattles or transmission flares. I'm sure both of these items are the exception and not the rule, but it would be worth driving the vehicle, just in case.

I had a '07 Camry XLE V6 that met a deer on the Garden State Parkway.
Didn't have any problems but some did on the Camry forum.
Especially on the '07s.
I've had a ES loaner a few times and they were tight with no flares and I do beat loaners up a bit.

I had an ES350 loaner last week. I preferred the interior of the 330, with its wood trim dash and center stack that did not look like a ghost. Also the doors on the 330 are tall enough, thank you. I thought the interior was a step backwards, even if they lost the cassette. I think the IS is better-styled, but to each his own.

But to back to what you said earlier... yea i too am at the mid-life point and when i brought home the 2IS i was alittle dissapointed that it didnt have that 'lexus' ride i was looking for, it was too sporty for a 'lexus' but too comfy for a 'sports' car... of course anything can be fixed to your preferance with $$$
