Is the spoiler exactly identical to stock? It looks as though it points higher and sticks out more.

3m tape version, I didn't like the fact that i had to drill holes into my car. i worked my butt off to pay for the car and also i might want to change it up in the future. ING or Carlsson!
Did the 3M come with the spoiler from the Ebay seller or did you purchase it on your own? Does it come with install directions?

S to the K: The spoiler is not loose at all. The 3m tape provided on the spoiler is extremely strong and had good experience with it before so i wasnt to worried. I've tried shaking at it with a little force and it did not budge, but again i don't want to force it to much so that it does loosen it up. It should last awhile. I mean every experience is different so don't expect it to last forever. No it's exactly the same as the OEM ones sold by the dealer, but if there is a flaw you wouldn't be able to tell either way.

IS250_6Spd, I bought the EXACT SAME SPOILER....i got mine last week on ebay...installed it yesterday...even came in the same box....

Mine was in SGM....exact color match...fit perfectly....i can confirm that tape is ROCK SOLID!!! BUT...i have no idea how long it will last.....

Yea, if you drill holes without touching up you'll end up with rust sooner or later.

For a spoiler this small and light, those heavy duty weather proof 3M double sided tapes are more than enough to hold the spoiler in place. Just need to clean both surfaces really well before sticking it on.

If it comes off at some point will the tape have damaged the paint?

I got a spoiler from the same seller and installed it, but after few days later right side the tape has started to come off.
Maybe I did something wrong during installation process. I will reinstall it later.

I want to ask you two questions.

What did you use to clean the trunk surface before install the spoiler?
How did you place the spoiler in the right position (exactly middle of the trunk) ?

same thing happened to me. email the seller and he should take care of you. we sent me a new free of charge.

to place in the middle i used tape as guidelines.
