There was a reason why you got them in the first place. It's all about setting yourself apart from everyone else and changing things just for your own taste. I don't think they are ricey at all and really not that bad either.

i've seen that in person and I didn't really like it at all.
the person even went on to chrome the b pillars, handles and everything else he could detach from the car. and boy, did I laugh my @$$ off lol

Lexus' are luxury cars ..... I don't think they look good with extra chrome, this includes grilles and wheels. It's a highly subjective thing, if you like it that is what is important. But luxury to me means understated, and chrome says the opposite. There is really little we can do to tart up the front end of our cars; different color lights, overlays, etc. Most grille treatments, including blacking them out, don't improve the stock look, imo. I put a RaceMesh grille on the lower opening because I didn't like the black gaping opening on the stock setup. But it doesn't stand out, just adds a bit of texture to the front, and it looks like it belongs. Some like it, some don't. It's all personal on how you feel about it.
