general exlaim uhp strech question
hey those of you into tire stretching
do you think 255x35 is ok and more importantly SAFE to strech over a 19x9.5 rim??
the rim is +35 offset.. im hoping to not need to roll fenders and i do love that stretched look..
thanks for any advise
and how bout front 19x8 .. whats a good size to get a safe good lookin stretch
btw car is lowered on 250 pro kit -1.4f -1.0r

255 isnt much of a stretch, you have to go 245 and lower if you want any kind of a stretch. If you have a is250... its not like you need anykind of traction so... you can go 215 front and 235 rear

One thing thou you should be aware of, i dont know if you've ever run the stretched look before so one word of caution, your rims will get lip rash even if you dont parallel park from potholes or even just trying to angle on a curb/driveway *depending on your drop*, no matter how careful you are it WILL happen. This is the price you pay for the VIP look.

I know this info must be around somewhere but dont wanna do a search since this post is pretty much close to what I need to know too.. what's the appropriate offset for 19's x 8 up front and 19's x 9.5 in the rears if one doesn't want an extreame look? I mean what's the most closest to factory specs that'll cause least problems and what are the tire sizes? The lower the offset number the further out the wheel is right? What are the upper and lower limits on a 19" setup?

as i've said, its about the drop meaning how much camber the wheels will go to get that flush look and/or tsuraichi (even if your not on air), one example is me, when i was on eibachs (mild drop) my offsets gave me a tsuraichi look *the rim lip was just about flush with the fender, now that im lower the rim lip is slightly tucked under the fender which i DONT LIKE I want the tire tucked under the fender and rim lip to be ever so slightly protruding and not seeing the tire... WITHOUT running spacers or anytype of fender mod. IMO decide your drop before you buy rims... just depends on how **** you are about your 'look'.
