hey Joe Z, thanks. What if your TPMS are installed, but there's a gap between the sensor and the wheel? people are saying they will break if you get a flat tire, any idea on how to deal with this kind of issue? Thanks

Is this on all aftermarket wheels that have the tpms floating above the bottom? I'm thinking you can maybe stick an internal wheel weight underneath the sensor or something???

For non oem wheels....

Well if you go completely flat and the sensor is not properly sitting in its seat, you run a risk of busting the sensor..



Maybe strapping down in the center might be an option as well..
They make brackets and strap kits..

I would think if they are installed correctly and your rims are TPMS compatible then you should have nothing to worry about

Well I guess it all depends on how much gap there is and the angle the sensors are sitting at...

I would think, if the sensor sticks out past the inner barrel seat, if a flat or blow out occurs the sensors can snap if anything touches it, like a moving deflated tire on the ground..

is there any solution to this? considering I still want them on the wheel instead of zip tie it and trick the system. Even if you put something in between to fill the gap, if it sticks out too much, and you get a flat, it'll still crush it.
