Hey all. I was washing my car today and saw that a small rust spot formed about 2 inches above the clear plastic guard behind on the wheel well, behind the rear wheels. Does the lexus warranty cover this?

HAHA...no! Rust warranty only covers perforations through the sheet metal caused by rust.

Thanks for the answer, it turns out it's a false alarm.

metal particles rusted on top of the paint. something new for me since I had never seen anything like that out in colorado. i had to use my fingernail (so ever carefully) to remove it. I tried to clay bar it but no go. it's gone now and i'm not worrying about my car rusting away by next weekend, lol
