Just spoke with someone from the dealership today...
regarding a quote on a 250 that I had requested through edmunds.com and she told me the 250 doesn't come in a RWD model, and after I told her I'm pretty sure it does she insisted it didn't, I then asked her about the 6spd manual and she said that that was an AWD model. She seems to think that they never made a 250 RWD model and that only the 350 was available in RWD. So can someone help confirm that I'm not going crazy and that this person I spoke with doesn't have a clue what she's talking about or is there something I'm missing here?? I spoke with someone from the Rockville dealership out in Long Island, NY. Can any tri-state IS owners fill me in?

Tell her to look at the Lexus website, and that make sure she isnt working at the wrong dealership.
250 comes in rwd, and awd
Manual only comes on 250 rwd, but its also available in automatic.
350 only available in rwd.
However, due to marketing, there is no allocation of 250 rwd shipment being made to the east coast/New England area. So she probably meant they dont have 250 rwd... on the lot. You will have to special order one or get it delivered from else where in the USA.

Go talk to someone else. There is no point in dealing with this "expert". If she doesn't know something as basic as this, why on earth would you want to deal with her?

positive, I asked her twice, then asked her about the 6spd and she said that only came in the AWD model also. I just kept thinking no way could someone this uninformed about their own freakin product be working at the dealership, which is why I posted it on CL just to make sure there wasn't something I was missing. Anyways I spoke with someone from another dealership in the area who knows what he's talking about and told me that AT RWD 250's don't get shipped to the northeast area and would have to get special ordered...
