Background info:
I have a vaistech sli installed.

My cd player (which I never use) started acting up recently. The first weird thing that I noticed was that I would press the power button to turn off my radio, and a cd would eject. The first time i thought I had pressed the eject button on accident, but it happened the next day as well...

The second weird thing is that every time I start my car up, the cd player makes a bunch of noises like it's trying to reload the cd's, but the sound system is either off, or set to radio... not cd.

I then ejected all of my discs, and restarted the car, and the cd player is still making all of those noises.

Any idea what's going on>?

Sounds like you need to go back to the dealer.
There is a close match Service Bulletin for it, for your info to mess with the service dept.

The detail is more of making noise and causing scratches on the CDs...
