Default White and Yellow spots on Rotors

I've been noticing some white spots on my front rotors since I got the car (6 weeks ago) and today they were full of yellow spots. I ran a quick errand and when I was back they were clean again. It is raining a lot.

What are these spots?

its very normal when they get wet... even if you simply wash your car it can happen...

Thank you! I washed it yesterday. All by myself I must add, lol.

I thought about it and the white spots I have been seeing were on the calipers. They come and go. What's that about? They really bother me.

No. I've had other issues with the car since so that quickly became old news. I'll see what they say about it at my 1000 mile service appt and let you know.

Surface rust on the rotor from water that gets disappears when the brake pads rub against the rotor when braking.
