Default how soon should I see a tire bubble

Just run over a stone separating road from a parking lot. Was doing right turn and have not seen it. Fortunately it was rather low and had a trapeze shape (narrower on top), so i did not hit anything besides the tire. Still it was scary. Speed was low ~10Mh. My question is: if I got a tire bubble, how soon should I see it. Does it appear over time?

Thank you. May be I was lucky this time. When I got home (after another ~25 miles of driving), I looked very carefully and can not see anything...

Sorry to jack your thread for a bit but im having the same problem...due to potholes most likely. But i hear that on AWD it would be best to change ALL 4 tires rather than just 1?
