New Corolla commercial referring to IS...

Thanks to the OP for posting, I need to see this commercial. it is upsetting being that you can but two loaded Corollas for one IS X50 just about. I am not putting down the Corolla, but Toyota should have really put better marketing into this campaign.

Funny you should say that, i'm pretty sure the gearbox for the MT is250 is out of a tundra. Not that they should be compared, or that a corolla should be compared to an IS (lame attempt to leech off IS popularity)

see thats why i say people sometime buy the car for the name....Thats why lexus was not in japan for a while because US shoppers buy name thing for the rich and fancy...I see it if i like it and good bang for the buck then i will get it. I did not buy the car for the name lexus or for people to look at me and say ohhh that kid drives a lexus. IF the IS was a corolla i would but it even if its a toyota.

HMMM everyone has to have something to look up too. If they wish to be an IS then so be it. Didn't bother me that people said my NSX was a wunna be Ferrari. We all know what we have and drive. I see it as a compliment

Who cares, WE know it is not a corolla, and part of the reason I bought an IS350 vs a 330i is because of Toyota legendary reliability and fit and finish. Bimmers do drive great, not gonna lie, but there is no brand behind BMW that backs it with world famous reliability and relativly cheap cost of ownership. For people that tell me Lexus is a glorified Toyota, I answer "and that is EXACLTY why I bought it" it means it is reliable, bullit proof, AND glorified...what else can you ask for. The general public cant even identify 50% of cars on the road, don't know how many times I've been told that my car is based on the Camry, I just politly answer "that is the ES not the IS my friend, but it is a great car as well".

haahha love the pics. They have alot of similarities. I am currently driving a corrola, and while i dont feel as pimp in my corrolla, i can respect the car for what it is. Sides pulling a perfect drift in a corrolla is quite impressive to passenger and onlookers alike. giving the rolla some street cred
