Default just involved in a fender bender ...

well today started off in the worst way ... im on the way to the gym at around 5am and i for some reason try to look for my membership card at a stoplight.. i see green and the car in front rolling ... i move forward and i end up rear ending the car.... anyone with experience changing the front bumper of a 07 is250 and the cost you incurred?

Damages shouldnt be that bad right? It should be just a tap? Do you have pictures? Ebay bumpers are around ~$100 shipped. Purchase one of those and get it painted ~$150-200.

it definately isnt something i just can "pop" out. there are scrapes and deep dents. i plan on going through an auto body place and replace the entire bumper. just wondering if anyone else has done this

no pictures at the moment. i am at work. pictures aside, has anyone had to replace their front bumper? what type of costs did you incur?

we wouldn't be able to tell you how much it'd cost. Bumpers tend to cost quite a bit though depending on how deep the damage is. Bumper covers are usually several hundred and may or may not include paint at which point you may have to paint it for more. Inside your bumper are shock absorbers which even after a 5mph bump may be pushed in and if you get into another accident that's severe, could become more dangerous than it should be. Really there's too many variables and we don't have pictures to estimate.
