If you pay wouldn't that be a "rental" car?
Got a free car wash that will take me an hour tomorrow morning to fix all the water spots and generally looked like a high school corner job.
Well that will not happen again.
No more dealer free wash jobs.
I will be changing my oil also as I do with all my cars and trucks.
Thought I would give it a try.
they charged you for the loaner car???!!??

lexus of norwood is $116 or so. includes full oil change, tire rotation, fluid refills, filter changes, wiper checks, car wash. quite a ripoff. it'll probably be around $20-30 for oil and the filter. tire rotation is a 20 minute job, shorter if i had a lift. my filters and wipers are fine, i can just bring it in next time and say "oh i think there's something wrong with my filters" and have them replace it for free by doing so. and the fluids? which consists of coolant and washer fluids where the washer fluid i have at home and the coolant doesnt need to be flushed anytime soon (new car and all). you should do it yourself next time

Yes i noticed when i went in for my oil change they had a sign up for loaner cars that said "Due to the increase of gas we charge a $20 flat rate for loaner cars as well as filling it back up". Gas is hurting everyone.

for my oil change at $77.38 it says....31.65 for oil service (labor) 36.24 parts amount they used motor oil, and 5.11 for hazardous waste and 4.38 sales tax. does that sound right?

Does this dealership let you bring the car back empty? If not, I can't see how they could use that as a reason to charge you for the loaner car. When you pick up a loaner car at my local dealership, the loaner agreement actually says Hertz on it, so it's pretty much like renting a car, where you have to bring it back with the same amount of gas as you took it with.

Yes indeed, but I brought it back about 1/4 tank left, started with over 1/2.

yeah my loaners say i have to bring it back with the same amount of gas as it came with. but sometimes i get lucky where the sheet registers my gas wrong. i started with a half tank but the sheet said i had a quarter tank. so i only had to bring it back with a quarter tank
