Default Do IS250 AWD wheels fit on 01' Toyota Camry?

Hello CL members,
this question may sound stupid to some of you, but i really need to know.
I'm trying to use my 17" IS250 AWD wheels on 01' Camry but the tire shop guy said that the rims are too wide for the car and it may rub against the wheel wall.
Has anyone done this or do you think this will be fine on camry?
thank you

The AWD rims are quite wide. They are wider than my MOMO's and are about an inch and a half bigger width. It is quite possible that they will rub, especially in the front while turning.

If I know this correctly, the factory AWD wheels are 17" x 8.
No?

No?
You are correct and I should have stated that in my initial reply.
