I had a post not long ago about my weak ac not cooling for minutes............I knew I wasn't the only one.
here is mine solution.........at least it cools my car faster now
1. Before you walk up to your car(like 20 yards away) hit the unlock button to roll down all windows (that releases ALOT of the hot air in the car)
2. Get your windows tinted (even at 35%, it blocks out like 60% of the sun). Also use a sun reflector for the front windshield.
3. Run AC at full blast at the lowest temp possible when you get in your car. The AC should get cold in 30-40 seconds.
4. Try to park under trees or shades from building. Its like walking a little more vs. burning car.
5. Install remote start (AT only)- that can start your AC way before you get near/in your car

I just hold the unlock button as Im walking to the car which automaticlly rolls down the windows so when I get in the car, much on the heat has dissipated out the windows and thru the roof already. Then drive with the ac on fullblast for about 30-45 sec. Close windows and roof and wa-laa...cold air in your face...aluminum sun shade helps as well.

I also leave the sunroof tilted up, with the inside tray closed almost completely, so the sun does not pour in (and no one can pour a drink in) but some air can escape. I accidentally left it like that when it rained really bad for a couple of hours. When I got in the car, I felt around the underside edge of the sunroof tray and it was dry. There was no water in the cabin at all. I just left the sunroof tilted open the next day to allow the tray to dry. Awesome!

I've tried holding down the unlock button on the remote while walking towards my car, but the signal never fails to get interrupted before the windows get all the way down and before the sunroof opens all the way.
