Has anyone tried the Nitto 555 tires on the 350? My brother uses them on his car, and they work real well compared to the Goodyears that came with his car (not a lexus car).

Is there anything wrong with these tires? They're very inexpensive and they have great dry traction/handling, but I don't know how they'll perform in wet weather.

I removed my 18" OEM Dunlops at 10K miles to install the winter shoes.

The front tires are fine, but the rears won't last another full summer.

Looks like I'll be getting Michelin PS2's before summer '07 is over.

EDIT: let me explain why the intended brand change. When I switched to the Blizzak snows I realized that while having good traction, the Dunlops were responsible for the relatively poor steering feedback and the notorious understeer. The car is actually more fun to drive with the Blizzaks, albeit with the obvious lower g limits.
So I'll be trying a new brand of summer tires when it's time.

What's your reason for switching to PS2s? (my reason is posted above)

replace my front at 36k with stock dunlop due to not checking my air pressure on time. I had inside and outside wearing out and center part are still ok.

so far my rear are still running stock at 38k. I think I 'll have at least another 3k to the bar.

BTW, I'm using ps2 on my two fronts and I think they are ok for this car.

I think 35 is too low for the front and that is why I have inside and outside wear. I think 37 front and 38.5 rear will give a very good wear overall.

Replaced the stock Dunlops at just over 30K on my 06 250. Went with Goodyears. MUCH better ride. No tramlining, no more annoying, jarring feeling over highway bumps, little to no road noise, especially at higher speeds.

Was a toss up between Nitto INVO and the GY Eagle F1, went with the GY. So far so good!

Do most of you guys with the staggered setup replace all four wheels at once? Or do you do the front two (most likely the first two to wear out) first, and the rears later?

I replaced my stocks at 20k. They were starting to show some serious wear on the outer edged. Replaced them with PS2's and like the new tires just as much. The good thing with the PS2's is that they can be rotated left and right on the staggered setup.

Does anyone have Toyo Proxy tyres on 17" rims?

How long do they last under 'normal' driving?

14,000 km on mine and still fine, but I also ran snows last winter while the Dunlops sat in storage.
