Nah, he told me he's looking for yellow fog light housings ... I know we have them for the 2GS, but do they sell them for the 2IS? Or would he have to tint the clear housing yellow?

Mine had overlays at one point. Didnt like them so i just changed out to PIAA's instead.

I gave my overlays to truoutkast. might want to check with him on some pics.

If you are looking for the actual light to iluminate yellow then you will like the look of 3000k hid conversion. See our forum sponser mobilehid or xenondepot for more info. "FYI if you contact cliff at mobilehid he is very helpful and fast to respond". Or if you want the actual glass to look yellow then you will want the yellow overlay. The Hid 3000k yellow will look fantastic at night and give it more a JDM look at night. IMO

+1 I couldn't agree anymore to this response. Our vendor is great, the product is great, and you will be much happier doing it the right way IMO there are a few DIY post to show you how to install it your self. go check out the vendor section

I personally just installed this kit! I went with 5k as I wanted a different look then you but all around its been great!

Hi,

Your vehicle uses a 9006 bulb for the fogs. If you wanted to go with an HID set up I would suggest going with a 9006 3000k HID conversion kit.

Here are some pics of our 3000k kit installed on an IS along with our 6500k kit installed in the low beams:

Does anyone know if overlays will melt? It seems the fog lights get pretty hot.

thanks

The overlays will not melt if you're going with the high temp ones. Most of the reputable companies that makes overlays specifically for the ISx50 will not make one that can't withstand high temperatures.

I think it is because it is a hid kit and they are brighter then normal halogen 3000K bulbs.

I bought the ebay overlays and had no problems with it.
