I wash my car recently and notice even more chips on the front bumper and hood than before. Waiting to repaint and then clear bra sounds like a good plan.

Could insurance cover this if its bad? I cant believe a near 40k car gets chips like this. Lexus should offer to install free clear bra's with this many reports of rock chips on a luxury car...

Free clear bras from Lexus? Not a chance. I won't be surprised if they charged $2k for it.

I should of got clear bra when I first purchased my car but I was low on cash and eventually forgot about it until now

How would that work? Is it just like the stuff they try to sell you at the dealership? or like a extra thick layer of wax or something?

Its hard to explain, but its basically a liquid film that gets sprayed on the hood, bumper etc but the best part of this is that it doesnt peel like the normal clear bras!

I will try to get some photos for you folks.

Liquid bra, that's interesting. Maybe hard to see in pics. How about more info like durability, appearance, cost, etc.? Basically advantages/disadvantages over the regular clear bra.

Pricing for front end is $500-800

Advantages
-it can be spray onto any body part just like clear coat (waxable)
-Extra UV protection
-no seamlines , so wax wont get stuck
-same durability as 3M clear film
-doesn't turn yellow

Disadvantages
-It's Spray so its not removable

We'll try to get some pictures of the front end

Any dealer in Houston metropolitan area? Would like the LS460L and LX front end done. I just had clear bra installed on the 08 IS350; edges very visible.
