BMW has some intangibles that may suit you better...
I've just seen way too many sensor, and stupid problems that cost a bunch of money for the 335i. twin turbo is awesome. but really how much faster is it stock???

Listen I know your all happy and want to feel good about your decision. That's fine killer..but your telling me..that you can compare a 335 Coupe to an IS350?....The 335 4 Door, yes....in which I would have picked the IS350..but the E92 coupe...is different..Anyways..enough with this..have fun with your purchase.

I wonder if the edmunds is biased toward the 335i. Made best run on the 335i but ****ty, or say, conservative run on the IS350. 13.8 sec quarter mile is one of the slowest runs we have seen. Other magazines such as Road & Track obtained 13.5 sec @ 104+ mph in the quarter mile. And that's with the fat *** driver and 90F hot weather. With better conditions the IS350 would be pulling 13.30~ 13.45 sec, as demonstrated by many IS350 drivers out there. I don't get too horny with the magazine numbers so I(and many others) prefer drag strip racing.

Edmunds didn't turn off the traction control when they ran that test. I remember reading that they were able to get shave like .3 seconds of the 1/4 mile by doing so. I imagine it has even a more dramatic impact to 60.

Honestly, tooooo much debate with BMW vs Lexus. Both are great cars, people buy them with their own preference.

Dont take money out of the equation, because when you are spending 40 grand on the worst investement possible (a car), you might as well get something worth the money.

Congrats on your new ride!
I went with the IS350 also for essentially the same reasons and it hasn't disappointed me.
I love my car more and more each day (I add a new mod)

If you mean as a car/vehicle (reliability and all of the above) it is overrated I can see where u are comming from. But if you mean as a performer (speed and handling) Im gonna have to say, it is a great car.
