got my visors in yesterday, went out n tried it on see if it fit ...... everything looks good except at the edges where the chrome trim ends... it just a straight cut, which makes it look UGLY!! everything else looks fine.

question for you guys that already has them on... Did you have to cut the front tab that goes inside the mirror plate?

Dont cut it, it will fit in, or you can use a dremel to thin it out so that it slides in better. It took me several tries to get it in. Only a fraction of the tab actually goes in and not the whole thing, coz if you push it in all the way, the other end of the visor will not be flush with the door edge.

All you do is just insert the tab in the crack between the triangle black piece and the window. It fits in between and helps to hold the visor down while the car is in motion. The design is flush and fitment is perfect. Hope this helps.

yea i know.. i got the tab inserted between the mirror cap but then it wont line up with the crome trim on top. Only way it would work is to cut part of the tab off. You have any close pictures of the tab part?

I hate the weather tech ones, I have them on my tundra, and it pinches the window more, and has put a lot of scratches on the edge of the glass where it goes up into the window channel.

I'm also considering these too, but the way I see it is go the right way and get the real deal. Has anyone had these on for at least a year with no problems?

I really did not want to put visors on my car, but it makes a HUGE difference when you park your car during a HOT summer day. Crack the windows a bit and it lets cool air in. Also, you keep thieves from noticing a open window, keeps interior cool and your leather seats wont be as hot and will last longer....BONUS!

sorry to be such a n00b, but does the clip for the two front visor go inbetween the triangle piece and the weather stripping on the door, it is it supposed to go between the inner side of the triangle and the actual window itself?
