Sooo much better than stock.
real quick who can tell me if these wheels on the pics fit the same as the stock 5 twin spoke wheels for the 08 IS's.. ???
like if I put these spacers on my car with the 5 twinspoke wheels. will it flush like that because I think DW8787's look perfect

Wheels width will affect what offset you can run. Since stock wheels are narrower than your aftermarket's, you could run a slightly more aggressive offset than with the aftermarket rims.

Yes let me know please. I am going to be selling my car and leaving the lowering springs on it. It may be a few more months before it goes and I want it to look good while I still have it. I was going to order 10mm, same brand, front and rear? That would put me close to the same offset that my aftermarket rims where. Unless I am missing something If I can push them with 15mm and not replace tires I will do that.

Thanks!
Mike

i had 23mm on my rears and never put the fronts on. 23mm was perfect with my OEM rims. 25mm may have worked but would have been a close call. the 20mm bolt on set up is great! Brian got to see these as we removed my rear suspension yesterday. someone wants them hit me up. used for all of 2 weeks and the car basically has been sitting around....

thanks passnu2 r the man. I like!!!!!
no rubbing issues with these?
also, are these safe, Ive heard some people say they are not. and that they are not good for your hubs, is that so? every car is different, I just wanna make sure they are not bad for the IS cause im gonna have these on the car for at least 4 years without ever taking them off.
Im guessing the centric hub ring helps, why???

Im thinking of Eibach 10mm and 15mm or Project kics, same sizes.
which ones are better?? which ones have more durability, better reputation, lighter??

your welcome. I cant speak for long term as I haven't ever used them. This was a test to see how they are and I must say I was very surprised with the fit and quality of these. I had H&R on my fronts for a short time and sold them. You had to put in new studs and it was a P.I.T.A. These just simply bolt on and come off for any reason Spacers have been used for years so I cant see there be any reason to doubt the safety but doing anything to your car "could" cause something to happen. If my next car has rims worth keeping I am going to do this on the next car and not purchase rims. The OEM rims and some better tires with spacers would make this car much better IMO. I am glad I tried it out

i looked up some project kics today and every number matchs in specs. but the centerbore was 67mm. Im not sure but isnt the IS bore 60mm?? will this 67mm matter?

PAssnu 2:
so what brand are the ones on the pictures?
I looked up some project kics today and everything matches the IS specs. but the centerbore is 67mm. I think the IS centerbore is 60.1mm

SO which actually fit perfectly?
i dont want HR's cause i dont want to take the caliper and all that out. I want something I can take off in 20 minutes.

Passnu2 is sporting Ichiba Version II spacers on his rear, same ones I'm getting.

To the op: Looks much better with spacers!

And Mike -- thanks for posting those pics! The rear looks good. Can't wait to install mine!

Thanks!!!
apparently the Ichibas say they are made for the IS specifically so the centerbore is 60.1mm which is perfect. nice!!!!
Im guessing these are pretty good in quality? reliability?
