Hey guys,

I am trying to buy a 2008 IS350 white pearl but every dealer says its too hard to find one....has this been an issue for any of you? Or is it all bs? i mean im willing to pay for it but NO ONE has it....

Please help me before i settle!!

I asume that your white peral is Crystal White, this color was only made in the 2006 model.

actually.. 2008 is Starfire Pearl.

2007 starfire pearl, is the new name to the old 2006 crystal white...in my opinion it looks just like a white with alot of flakes...and then they have the other white that has the blue pearl in it...dont remember the name though...

That blue pearl you're referring to is Glacier Frost, love that color. but to the OP, it might be limited in your area but there were like 7 starfires where I live in GA. Do you have a second choice of color?

06 is Crystal white
07-08 is Starfire Pearl

Starfire Pearl is more whiter then Crystal White

Crystal White is kind of Yellowish after time, which my looks like

you see the different when you park next to eachother.

There were two or three Starfire Pearl's when I bought my Black Sapphire at Cerritos back in May.

starfire pearl is pretty difficult to find in general compared to some other colors. that being said it was my first choice but given the deal they gave me for black, I took black instead. Crystal white does in fact dull over time. It becomes somewhat yellow as is on my cousin's IS. Of course, I would assume starfire pearl will do the same eventually though the pearl effect hides it better.

Back in December 07, there were only 2 starfire pearls within a 75 mile radius in Norcal. One in Pleasanton(is250 manual) and the other being in San Rafael(is350).

yes its the color listed in the photo. I believe its starfire pearl? I dont know but it seems like NO DEALERSHIP can get it....why is that?!?!

It probably wont have the X-package. We dont get too many from here. You will probably have to get the dealer do a trade between dealers if there is one. I will get back to you tomorrow morning when i drive by it before work.
