Could you tell me which dealer this is? Also, what is NC's tax?

Lexus Champion
2006 IS350 .... really loaded ....
I went to my local Lexus dealer in Houston in early August. I wanted a 350 with Nav and ML and XM satellite. The dealer said they just don't get ML systems in this market, BUT, they had just done a swap with a dealer in CO and it was sitting on the showroom floor. Tungsten Pearl with Sport Package, with Nav/ML/XM, ground effects, rear lip spoiler, 18" Spider wheels, dark window tint, and the usual all weather mats, cargo net, wheel locks, etc. MSRP was a hefty $49,040 and they didn't really want to deal on it as they only had it for a few days and it was a showroom magnet. I had to say it was pretty sharp. Only got $1,800 off the price which was just about 25% of their profit on the vehicle. Figuring I wasn't going to get an ML spec'ed 350 very easily I bought it. What the hell. OTD with TTL it was $50,500, which probably puts it on the very high end for an IS. You could get a GS 350 for that price. But I love the car!! The ML is worth the dough and XM is the only way to go. Glorious sound ...... and the car scoots, too.

I just got a 2007 IS350 with LT and Nav/ML packages for $44K driveout, which is about $3.6K off MSRP.
Did I do good? It took me like six hours of driving back and forth between two dealerships, and two salesmen seemed to want to cut my throat by the end of the day, so I sure hope it's pretty good. =P

Kendall Lexus of Eugene, Oregon
$40500 OTD ($2735 off MSRP)
$43017 MSRP + $218-ttl. = 43235.00
2007 IS350 Showroom Car
XE, PT, NV, HL, Z1, LR in Obsid. Black/Black.
No tax in Oregon. TTL in OR is $218 for 4 years.
Everything by email. Not the best price, but I'm very happy.
My wait time was 1 day from final negot. to purchase.
I saved a lot and they made a heck of a lot of $$$.

I find his price very hard to believe. I have called 14 dealers and the most any has offered for an '07 was around $2100 off MSRP. Most dealers scoffed at me when I asked what type of deal we could negotiate, and said everyone pays MSRP for an '07 IS. I have lost their numbers...
