It seems like all the good deals happen in CA. The northeast is getting raped.

07' IS350 LT, HW, PA, NV, trunk mat wheel locks $4000 off msrp. Deal or no deal?

not a bad deal, altho I've heard about people getting them close to invoice....(I don't know how they do this on a 350). Lawrence Lexus in NJ has an 06 Red 350 LT/NAV/HW/PA that they'll sell for $1000 under, new car with 300 miles...ooops they're not a CL dealer, hope I don't get in trouble for mentioning them.

Actually, I saw a white 350 on their inventory list and inquired about it.
I remember you posted about buying from a NJ dealer and there was a red one. The sales guy said he sold the white one to someone in TX. Then I realized that the white one pictured was your car. Oops...sold. :P
Red one is sold too.

well look at it like this......i called every dealer within a 150 miles of me. all of the dealers are overstocked with IS250's, were talking at least 30-40 in many cases over 50+ IS250's most had 1-3 IS350's or none in stock. Im looking for an IS350, many dealers were willing to sell me an IS250 at invoice or under, in fact a couple almost begged me to buy an IS250 since they had very little 350's to sell.

I have the same experience in the BayArea. I was quoted $500 below invoice right off the bat for the IS250. It was much harder to deal when it comes to the IS350.

This makes me really wonder why Lexus does not rebalance their production mix. It's either they put all their 3.5 liter engines in the GS350 or I suspect they are intentionally restricting the production of the IS350 to prevent the price of it from crashing because of the new comers, 335i, G35, new C-class etc.

i think theyre doing it on prupose. restricting production, therefore giving dealers more leverage to get more $$.

I think we're seeing a softening of the market for both the 250 and 350 as the "newness" factor has subsided. As a result, inventories rise and prices start falling. Got mine on 1/11/07 Sticker: $39,857. Paid: $35,252

I am thinking about trading in my 03 G35 sedan for either a 07 IS250 RWD or a 07 G35 sedan. If I could get the IS250 for invoice or close to invoice, I would buy one soon, because I don't think I could get a great deal from Infiniti dealer soon.
