Went to several dealers in the Chicago area, ended up with invoice price : 34801
MSRP: 39171

Anyone get a better deal that this? No one was willing to go under 34800.

My IS 250 AWD is:
Starfire Pearl/Cashmere
Nav
HID
Wood

Dealers here woudln't budge on any of the advertising fee/holdback/whoesale floor.

It seems that only dealers in Cali most often budge below invoice.

IS350 SGM/Black, Lux 18's, Nav, park assist, spoiler = a little more than 4k off msrp. Not the best deal ever, but not bad. I don't have patience to quibble for a few hundred dollars, so I think I did ok.

I was having second thoughts about SGM because it's so popular, but when I saw it at dusk while picking up, I fell in love all over again.

90% glad to be rid of my BMW: fun Fun FUN car to drive, not so much fun when it was in the shop.

I'm more worried about the monthly payments and thats usually how I make deals with dealers. It's hard to get qoutes with monthly payment without giving more info. I was wondering if it's possible to get an IS250 Auto with Luxury Plus Package, 18" wheels and Nav, with good credit and $10k down payment, for around $400 or less a month? I live in SOCAL if that helps.

Thanks.

This are your numbers if you get the car for $35K OTD and put a down payment of 10K.

finance 25k with PenFed @ 5.79%
5 years - $480 monthly installment
6 years - $412 monthly installment (about $800 more in the total paid interest)

finance 25k with NAVY Federal @ 5.00%
5 years - $471 monthly installment
6 years - $402 monthly installment (about $683 more on interest)

I would say you're real close. Board Sponsor, JM Lexus, runs this ad locally. I've never bothered to read their fine print, however.

Good luck

Thanks for the link Fantom, I am looking to buy though and lease isn't really an option.

Warrionex, where did you get the interest rate percentage from? Is it possible to get it lower than that from either the sites you provided or from Lexus financing themself? Last time I purchased a car from Toyota I got a 4.0% interest rate and I was hoping to get the same or around the same rate, 4.0%-4.5%. Is this possible at all with Lexus?

Thanks again for the help and suggestions.

In the NW especially WA you will not have any huge discounts. There are 3 dealers and 2 are the same owner. Supply and demand especially for the awd 250 model I wanted.

07 IS250 AWD
Breakwater blue
sterling and wood interior
loaded with ever option available
clear bra complete package
coded glass

9 percent tax plus license

44k out the door
saved about 1500.

So what kind of deal should I be looking for an 07 IS350? I'm in Socal and want to start emailing dealers for quotes. Is $1K below invoice possible here? Also anyone know of any special lease offers for the IS350 for July/August? Like 39 month specials. Any residuals and money factors would be helpful.

I checked with Dallas Lexus. I have a quote of 07 IS350 Premium Package with Nav for $42450, the lady has offered me for $38800+ttl. Is this sound like a good deal? Thanks

Looks like you would still be a little over 40K OTD (I think your quotes contain the dealer fees). If it were me, I would be shooting for 39,000 or under OTD. Maybe the price she offered you could be the OTD price and you might have a deal.
