I've heard of great things at Newport Lexus, 2 questions:
1. If I pay it all at once and I mention that I am, will I get a better deal? (Going to a local credit union to take out a loan for lower interest)
2. Do you think I can get a IS350 w/ premium+navi for 37k OTD (inlcluding tax and all the dumb fees)

For mentioning paying "all at once," there's really no need. We all know that dealers have other ways to make money such as financing loans, etc. Just negotiate the lowest price you can.
I managed to get my IS350 no nav for 37k OTD, which was almost 1k below invoice. With nav, it's a bit more.

3% below dealer invoice on an '08 350, black/black, x-pkg, ML sound, rear spoiler, XM radio, and adaptive HIDs. But I work for Toyota Motor Engineering and Manufacturing.

I purchased 2 cars from Newport Lexus and had good experiences.

you guys in the hartford/springfield area REALLY should consider balise lexus. they gave me a great deal and are treating me great. they also treated me very well before I ever made a purchase with them. I got 2000 off plus free xm radio so the overall discount is probably more. then I found out that since they told me I was tier 1 credit but then told me I was tier 2 they still gave me tier 1 benefits. if you want the name of my salesman let me know.

just want to share my deal here since I saw this forum.
bought my 07 IS350 in July 07. Premium, nav, accessories package, rear spoiler, HID, and 18@ wheels.
MSRP = 42,412 (around there, can't remember the exact figure)
Paid before TTL = 36,600
OTD with TTL (8.25% tax) = 40,000
Got an almost $6000 off from MSRP, I think invoice was $37ish.
the bottom line is, be patient, email as many dealers as possible and when they offer a price, tell them another dealer got a price below their price, and show them the price. SOmetimes you may create an imaginative number, and you guess what, those SMART dealers will believe!!
Just continue doing that and eventually you will get the lowest possible price
Good luck

Nice deal tfz, definitely an end of the year type deal though. Without some kind of factory-to-dealer incentive that sort of discount pricing isn't going to happen. I always wonder if one could pull off a deal like that on an special ordered car ?
I know that Toyota has build periods for special order cars. Does anyone know when the final special order build is for a given model year prior to the switch over? Would it be possible to get year end incentives on a special order?

I dont think you can get that discount from an special ordered car, coz the factory-to-dealer incentive might not be very high. But you could try though..
