I had picked mine up 2 weeks ago IS250 09'
Fully loaded with the rear spoiler MSRP 39k~
Purchased for 32500~ Out the door after tax/registration 36800~
0.9% financing

My dad recommends this one dude in Redwood city. Said he'd give us the best price. And after speaking with everyone in the bay area and socal area, I went back to the dude in Redwood city

Funny note: My cousins friend just picked up a Honda Accord V6 for $43k >.> LoL

39k MSRP isn't anywhere close to "fully loaded" for an IS250.

You can spend well into the mid 40ks MSRP for one _actually_ fully loaded.

The most expensive -actually- fully loaded Accord though appears to be the accord coupe EX-L V6. Which has an MSRP of $31,155.

So I'm unclear how your friend paid almost $12,000 _over_ MSRP for his car.

The most expensive accord Sedan is even cheaper, topping out at $30,905.

Neither's a very good comparo against an IS though, FWD vs. RWD, significant interior differences, and the accord has over 30% more horsepower than the IS250.

Oh, i'm sorry, not fully loaded with the technology package. <~ wayyy too expensive

And i'm just telling you what my cousins friend told me. I'm not here to argue

All i know was they we're kicking themselves in the head when I told them how much I got the Lexus for

edit: i just went to the honda website and added all the features and it barely hit 36k. I'm assuming my cousins friend has added the tax/registration + financing cost on that

Hey

Who's the salesman in Redwood City? I live in the bay area and spoke with a couple of dealers and they said the best they can offer me is $3,000 off the 39K MSRP. Any help would be appreciative. Thanks!

After too many years of delayed gratification, I've decided its finally time to treat myself to a new car. Over the years, I've wavered between Audi, BMW, and Lexus, but have finally settled on the 2010 IS350. Part of what sold me is the far superior electronics, especially on the 2010 models, such as the updated HDD nav and especially the streaming bluetooth audio. I now consider this a must-have, so unfortunately I won't save any money by picking up an '09.

My question is, should I expect to pay MSRP on this car if I buy within the next month? I want to buy as soon as possible (like yesterday!), but I also want to get the best deal. I know the dealers are hurting these days, and Lexus has to be scared of BMW passing them in luxury sales for the first time in 7-8 years, so maybe there are some good deals to be had on the 2010's as well? One of my local dealers says the 2010's are starting to come in, and he wants a $500 deposit to find the car I want. I live in Texas, so I have about 12 dealerships within a half-day's drive. Thanks in advance for any advice!

While there've certainly been some updates along the way this is a car in it's 5th model year now...no way you should be paying anywhere near MSRP, especially if there's that many dealers in your area

How much do you think I can get the same without the nav? Did you have to haggle much?
