I paid $1K over invoice on 1/3/06 (same deal and dealer as IS300 '01 that was bought in Nov '00)

new to forum, have not purchased the 350 but looking forward to soon.
I am interested in recent discounts on IS350 people have received, so far at most i have been offered 1,000 off MSRP which sounds like a joke considering such gap between invoice & MSRP...appreciate any inputs please

i just got a response from the internet manager for my local dealer for a FULLY loaded IS350 with the biggest package and they quoted me 40,527!!! MSRP is 44,429.
I'm surprised at how deep they're discounting.
