What is y'alls opinion on this? Can anyone tell me how I would find the TRUE sticker price, so I actually know how much off MSRP is? Please don't refer me to Blue Book or Edmunds because I'm fairly good at researching....just confused over that pricing.

In other words, I'm fairly happy with $40,500...but wanted to hear everyone's professional opinion on whether or not I should be motivated by actual market prices to bring our agreed-upon price down further.
my opinion? $40K for a 250? get the 350 instead for $40K as other have described in this thread. Why do you need AWD in Texas?!?!?

I'm southern cali as well. Which dealership did you get that quote from? I'm in the market for a new Is350 since my current lease ends on my G35 in 2 months. It seems that with a price like that we are moving closer to invoice which is only another 2K discount from the quote you got.(there is a like a 6K difference btwn MSRP and invoice ). ARe you planning on buying or leasing? If leasing, any residuals or money factors given to you.

I was quoted 41800 from Longo for ML/Lux 350. That's $2629 off MSRP. Should I take the deal or should I keep looking? I was actually looking for a deal around 39k and I have been waiting but am in no rush. What do you guys think?

if you are in no rush you should wait. When the next model year cars start showing up they are willing to get rid of them in a hurry.

got offered 35.5 for an IS250 AWD w/ NAV. That is like 1900 off the sticker. So much for the Costco discount.

Default 2k off of IS350

Just wanted to let everyone know that this thread helped me out a lot. I picked my IS350 up tonight for 2k off of MSRP. Fully loaded.

Give me a shout if you need the contact info for the sales rep in NOVA.

$2500 off Blk/blk 250 w/premium pkg. Dealer also threw in free tint, 1 year XM service, and all weather floor mats. Not a bad deal overall.

The deals are only going to get better. If you want a particular color that is going out of production THAT would be the only reason to buy one at that price.

I didn't vote b/c I haven't paid for the car yet. Expect to pay MSRP for a "special order" '07. Could have had an '06 for around $2,200 under, but wanted to EASILY "handcuff the nannies".
