Has anyone used the plug they give you for your ipod? Every time the wire is bent a little, my music goes all messed up. Anyone had this experience?

I use the auxiliary port and I've not run into such a problem. My wire fits perfectly so that I can close the lid completely even with the Ipod plugged in. You should get yourself a new wire to see if the problem persists. I bought mine and radioshack for $5. If it's not out front for you, just ask and they'll check the backroom for you. Good luck.
