Default Best place to buy OEM bi xenon bulbs?

Hello everyone.

One of the bi-xenon light is out in my wifes 06 IS350. Where's the best place to get a replacement and what do they normally cost? Dealer wanted $40 for one.

Thanks in advance.

Should be warranty if you are under 50k. If you want OEM, then the dealer. I think you mean OEM spec? You can get from a vendor on CL. If the dealer only wants $40 per bulb, that is cheap. It is easy to replace. Check warranty first, it should be covered and it is a common thing for these bulbs to go out and be covered.

See this recent thread for more details. The dealer should replace under warranty. An HID bulb should last much longer than 2 years.

You SHOULD be under warranty. Truth be told, even if you replace with OEM new vs old bulb would still be a noticeable difference in color anyways. That said, $40 is a pretty good price for any HID D4S bulb.

I would look at this as a great excuse to go 6-8000K from XenonDepot, our gracious forum vendor.

yes, IS models have bixenon headlamps plus a halogen bulb for high beam (which acts as a DRL too)

$40 for an HID bulb? That doesn't sound right at all..
