Default How do you take off the engine cover?

My Fujita cold air intake arrives tomorrow and my friend is going to help me install it, so i'm wondering how do you take it off?

More specifically, push down the center button of the tab before trying to take them out. When you put the tabs back in, you'll need to "reset" them by pushing the center button back up.

If you are talking about the engine cover alone, you just pop it up.

haha it's going to be his first time. we should be a little more specific.

The tabs are easy. Get yourself a cheap plastic pen and object with a solid tip. Take the solid tip and push it again the center circle of the tab. It should make a "pop" sound and be pushed in. You can just left the tab off afterwards. You don't have to use a pen or anything solid. You can use your fingers too. It's just easier with an object.

To put it back on, you have to push the center part back up. Use the ground a hard surface and push the "tip" part of it (bottom) against the surface. It should pop back up either to the original position or upward past the original position. Either way you can just put the tab back on and secure to the way it originally was.
