Default Question about factory IS 350 wheels

Okay I feel kind of retarded for asking but I remember reading something about it. I love the factory IS350 18's and want to get them for my IS but I am unsure if it will work on my IS250 AWD. I don't see why it wouldn't because i've heard of many AWD owners running staggered setups but I remember reading somewhere that it wouldn't. Anyone know for sure if these wheels will work?

^Yes the wheels will work! You just have to get new rear tires to match the diameter of the fronts! As is your fronts would rotate quicker then the rears due to the difference tire sizes. Match the overall diameter as close as possible to the fronts and you are all good

Thanks Mike... seems like you really know quite a bit about 2IS. Just out of curiosity, are you a mechanic?

The OEM 18" front wheels are too fragile with 40 series tires. Both of mine were damaged in less than one year. Several dents in each wheel and one is cracked. I've never damaged a wheel in my life, before these. Don't waste your money. Get stronger aftermarket wheels.

If you get 255 40 18 rears, you gotta get 225 45 18 fronts. The OEM rims are really heavy though - if you get lightweight 18"s, you'll easily save 40 pounds of rotating weight which is like taking off more than 200 pounds on your car. In addition, use lighter tires like Michelin PS2 tires and you'll save a few more pounds.
