The cheapest that I've seen around the LA area is $4.77
I filled up on Saturday before going to the OC for my Intake
it came out to $70 to fill up my tank, ouch!
I did about 34.5mpg going over there and coming back.
I'm averaging about 26mpg driving to work every day, of course
driving like a grandma, once I get to 40mph I drive at 1.5k rmps lol.

Here in the Boston metro, it's about $4.31/gallon for premium. Give or take some are cheaper stations run in the $4.20's and with other stations asking for as much as $4.60. But $4.30-35 is about average here.
That being said I'm driving an IS250 AWD. I've been monitoring my gas mileage for the past few tanks and I've found this much:
If you bring your car up to about 40mph, the automatic will switch into 6th gear. Anything below it'll be 5th gear at most. Now if you drop the speed down to about 35-37mph, it'll still stay in 6th gear. Anything lower and it'll drop back to 5th. If you bring it to 40 and drop it to about 37mph, it'll give you really good gas mileage, that is if you can keep a steady foot. So far my tank average for town driving is about 28.8mpg by doing this. With highway driving I've reached about 36.8mpg. Of course the highway test was months ago when gas wasn't $4+. I'll try to see my tank average with highway driving when I take it for a cruise sometime.
I remember back in November or December, I was getting gas for $2.75 premium. It was a Shell gas station and they gave the best deal in the Boston metro. Sadly they've shot up to about $4.40 now. =[
