Got mine in February and have yet to wash it. *It never rains in Southern California* Was kinda hoping it would, as washing is a fun chore.

doesn't need to rain for you to have to wash your car. i get a nice protective layer of dust and road grime after a week of driving. not to mention bird poop and loogies spit by truck drivers. longest i've gone without washing was 3 weeks. and after i washed it i felt like i just bought myself a new car

LOL I'd be pretty pissed of someone spit on my car. How often does this happen with the truckers?
When I do have to wash mine, I am picturing a river of black running down the driveway from all the caked on brakedust on the inside of the wheels- the parts I can't reach when wiping it down.

I went two weeks on my black paint without a car wash.
The only ***** about going so long without washing these cars is the brake dust that starts collecting on the wheels...makes them harder to clean.

you are all spoiled with that nice year long weather. if you saw what we went through this last winter in Chicago you would have been thankful to wash your car every 2 weeks. Glad I have a garage and didnt do too much driving but it was virtually impossible to get a car was as it was too cold.
Now that I dont have the rims on my car I am a little more lax about washing the car....

socal's weather isn't thaaat great for car washing, especially since its been so hot recently. the only way i can wash my car is if i get up around 7-8am, and hopefully get the car wiped down dry by 10. after that, the sun gets too bright and hot, and car washing gets pushed to the next day. and since i'm usually lazy and get up around 10, i usually dont' get a chance to wash the car very often... so 2 weeks is the norm

There was a time for about 4 months i didn't care what my car looked like (too much rain, a lil snow, etc) but i hadn't washed my car since the beginning of May to yesterday!
