Default about to be a new owner. need help deciding on which car.

need help and speculation from the 2is owners out here...
im debating between getting a 08 starfire pearl 2is 6mt and the auto glacier frost mica....

difference between the 2 in price is very little. but the difference in options.

6mt / auto
base with hid / fully loaded almost w/ nav

keep in mind it is a lease possibly with the idea of purchasing at the end.

what does everyone think?

i'm actually leaning towards the 6mt but from ive read that many arent too happy with it.

thanks for the feedback guys.

I believe you meant biased.

I like auto because it's more convenient and I think it is more fitting for a 250.
I like manual on fast, highly sporty looking vehicles!

Go for the options! Comfort ftw

I know how to drive both and still say get the auto.

Way more options for similar price.

Plus, the auto gets -better- mileage than the 6MT does.

get the MT and haggle the price for the F-Sport quick shifter and clutch installed b4 u pick it up. I mean you shouldn't be paying the same for a MT w/o options compared to a fully loaded 250 you know?

If you need navi, put in your own double din bad boy like pioneer's avic 3 or w/e

How can a MT/ base be close in price to an Auto/Fully loaded?

In my opinion. Lexus is a very luxury car. The automatic would best suit the luxury. Go put a Vaistech adapter to the navi and over ride kit and enjoy the movies while driving your automatic

I had a 6MT for 5 mos and always wondered what 250 auto would drive like. I finally got a chance to drive my friend's 250 AWD auto for the first time this past weekend, and I was sure glad I got the MT. Even though it was loaded with options, driving experience was dull and sluggish IMO.(no offense to any AWD owners). If you want the convenience then get the auto, but for a fun factor, definitely get the MT.

Try the RWD next time... comparing a car hundreds of lbs heavier trying to drive 4 wheels instead of 2 isn't really a fair comparison.

Purely your choice. What's more important to you? Weigh it out. Make a list of pros and cons and compare the list. Personally, an auto in a Lexus makes more sense to me.
Having said that, keep in mind the MT has a lower sticker, but also worse resale value and limited appeal if you plan to sell it later on.
