4 days after I brought it home...my boss decided we should go to a park for our leader meeting that day so we were all parked together, I was on the end, which I knew it was a bad idea. I come back to the car an hour later and there is a red dodge avenger parked next to me (2 door coupe with big doors) and there is a bright red scrape on my driver side rear door
I got most of it off but I can still see the spot every time I go to get into the car... I would like to say it wouldn't bother me if it were on the passenger side (because I wouldn't have to look at it all the time), but it probably would...
I know...nothing to serious (like the run in with the deer above) but I thought I would still share it...

This happened to my car a month after I brought it home, and just a few days after I installed the F Sport springs...
Deer ran in front of me on the freeway and you can see the rest of the story. $19,300 to fix it. No frame damage, and it's as good as new now. Body shop agreed to paint the new grille surround for free. I've had it back for 3 weeks now.

i curbed my rim within a week, about a foot long of curb. real ugly. it really sucks when you baby your car and you can't do anything about it, no matter what, something will happen, either you cause it or someone will. it's not perfect at all.

I can, unfortunately, chime in on this one as well... One week after the purchase of my '08 250, coming out of a store parking lot, I heard a big 'clunk' against the rear passenger door, which turned out to be a rock strike, or something. Just a tiny dent and maybe 3/8 inch scratch, but the car was BRAND NEW!! Then, about three weeks later, I go out to find three big key marks on the hood. (Why do a-holes have to hate?).
Well, the upshot is that while the dealer was installing my free bluetooth, (which, by the way is AMAZING! - After-market, and better than the OEM), the customer satisfaction rep I was dealing with saw the scratches, and offered to have her detail guys try to make them go away... which they did! The tiny dent is still there, but all of the scratches are gone!
Thank you Lexus of Cerritos!

I've read several other stories of people (dumb a****) intentionally doing mean things to nice cars that belong to other people. What's up with the universe!! Hopefully karma eventually comes back to get them!
