I'm looking to get a new wheel set up and some of you know how much I love black wheels almost as much as I love mesh wheels.


It was "suggested" to me that I get these, but I'm not too crazy about the spokes - I think they are kinda boring.






I prefer these, which I can get in hyperblack with a polished lip:





I'm going for 20's since 19's aren't too much of an upgrade from the stockies plus I purposely did only a modest drop to plan ahead for wheels.

What do you guys think?

I voted for the "suggestion" but I dunno about hyberblack on a BWB. I'd go for something in a lighter finish.

Personally I prefer something other than mesh simply because everyone has mesh so I voted for the multispoke rims on top, but don't listen to what others suggest for you to get. YOU have to like them first and foremost. Also I would say 19's are fine if you want day to day livability. 20's will make your car super slow especially since you've got a 250 and tires are way more expensive. Hyperblack would look good on your bwb. I had a set of ISP's on before and that's kind of like hyper black.. a shiney gunmetal finish. The black on the sport 13 rims above I think is too black for your color car though.. and imo black rims are getting too cliche now anyway...

honestly i'd pass on the 20's since your gonna have to run 30series tires... rubberbands are bad m'kay... if your car is a daily then 19's with 35's for more comfort and they can take a minor pothole.

of course... 20's would 'look' very nice just choose your offsets wisely.

as for which mooncake... mesh never looks bad but pain to clean, spokes can get boring but much easier to clean. I'd get the.... umm... mesh. Black dish/chrome lip on a BWB... the only reason i'll say go for it is that, no one else is running that color combi on a BWB currently *i think*, better to be unique than our typical 2IS CL cookie cutters

Black faced rims look nice and unique on bwb but I don't think it goes with the blue shade I was thinking about it but crossed it off my list pretty quick.

If you really wanna be brave go for gold meshies with chrome lip on bwb.. kinda subaruesque.. but more sophisticated depending on the shade of gold rim you can get. I was contemplating this combo to be the most unique and awesome looking bwb but chickened out.. + My wife strictly forbade me to put on gold rims.. it can look either amazing or horrible. lol

20's look so good on our cars, but they can be heavy. Get forged 20"s so you aren't loading the car with more unsprung weight

You should rethink the opinion that BWB doesn't go with black wheels. There is a guy here "Noz" who has the best looking BWB I've ever seen - black wheels and all.

I like both of them, but i love mesh wheels more. Which is why i like the Vs-xx and similar designs
